Judging Process

Transparent and Fair Evaluation

The judging process for the Orb3 Blockchain Innovation Challenge is designed to be transparent, fair, and comprehensive. Our panel of judges comprises experienced professionals from various sectors within the blockchain industry, ensuring a balanced and expert evaluation of each submission.

Criteria for Evaluation

Projects will be assessed based on the following criteria:

  1. Innovation and Creativity: How does the project introduce new or novel ideas in blockchain technology? Does it push the boundaries of what's possible in GameFi, SocialFi, or decentralized governance?

  2. Technical Execution: How well has the project been executed technically? Is the code robust, efficient, and scalable? Does the project demonstrate technical proficiency and a high level of development skill?

  3. User Experience and Design: How user-friendly is the project? Does it offer a seamless and intuitive interface? Is the design aesthetically pleasing and accessible to a broad audience?

  4. Real-World Impact: Does the project solve a real-world problem or address a specific need within the blockchain community? Is it practical and applicable in real-world scenarios?

  5. Commercial Viability: Does the project have the potential for future development, growth, and sustainability? Could it attract investment or become a successful startup?

  6. Community Engagement and Presentation: How effectively does the project engage with the Orb3 community? How well was the project presented and pitched during the submission?

Judging Timeline

The judging process will take place over a specified period following the submission deadline:

  • Initial Review: Judges will conduct an initial review to shortlist projects based on adherence to the submission guidelines and basic qualifying criteria.

  • Detailed Evaluation: Shortlisted projects will undergo a detailed evaluation where judges will score projects based on the outlined criteria.

  • Deliberation and Final Decision: Judges will convene to deliberate on the scores and select the winners for each category, including special recognitions.

Feedback and Learning

We believe feedback is crucial for growth and learning. While not all projects can win a prize, we aim to provide constructive feedback to participants, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.

Integrity and Respect

Throughout the judging process, we maintain a strict policy of integrity, impartiality, and respect for the efforts of all participants. Our goal is to celebrate the hard work and creativity of everyone involved, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all.
